Delete your NestPrep account

You can delete your account at any time. The quickest way is in the app; if you no longer have it, ask us below.

In the app

• Open NestPrep and tap Account at the top of any screen.
• Choose Privacy and your data, then Delete my account.
• The app shows exactly what will happen to each of your households before you confirm. Deletion happens straight away.

What is deleted, and what stays

• Deleted: your account and sign-in, your private vault and its files, your personal details in each household (such as your allergies, medication and location), and your notification tokens.
• Households where you are the last adult are deleted completely, with everything in them, including children's profiles, files and signed-in kid devices.
• Households that carry on keep their shared records, such as events, lists and household documents. Your profile stays in their history but is no longer linked to you, and if you were their only admin, another adult becomes admin.
• A premium subscription is not cancelled by deleting your account. Cancel it in Google Play or the App Store as well.
• Copies in our backups are overwritten within [backup retention period]. The full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

Ask us to delete it

Use this if you cannot get into the app. Give us the email address you sign in to NestPrep with. We will email you from [privacy email address] to confirm that the address is yours, and then delete the account within 30 days.
